There's a little known getaway in Zambales Province that is being discovered by local tourists just now. It is a place which was formerly uninhabited and part of the naval reservation of the once largest US Naval Base outside of the US. Devastated by the destructive eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991, this habitat which  once provided the ideal site for training and live shell firing exercises, is now being rediscovered as an idyllic destination to escape from the hassles of daily living.
